Wedding Photography London
Spence talks about wedding photography London and why isn't always the easiest...
I’ll be honest…. shooting weddings in London isn’t easy. If we wanted easy we’d get out of town and do an all day at a country estate venue. Pitch up in the morning and there till the evening. No driving venue to venue. Easy.
First off, shooting a wedding in London means being organised. Invariably myself and my second will be at differing venues, quite possibly different parts of town.
we’d usually meet up prior to shoot start to run through the plan for the day – usually at the wedding reception venue. Then we’ll head over to our respective groom / bride’s start location and as we take quite a lot of kit with us we’ll be driving.
Now…London is never the easiest place to park! So first off you’ve got to sort the car and then it’s a chance to take some photos.
Church ceremonies in London add another exciting aspect to the day. Getting to the church in time to get parked, set up, introduction with whomever is conducting the ceremony (we chat prior to the wedding day to let them know we’ll be discreet and respectful) and of course to catch all the natural shots of guests and the couple arriving.
