Established in 2004, we have covered over 400 weddings to date. Our ethos is to tell the story of a wedding in a beautiful, natural and timeless style. Not to take over the day but to document what happens on the day naturally and combine a relaxed natural coverage with informal, stylised portraiture. In years to come we want our couples to be able to look at their wedding photographs and re-live the true beautiful story of their wedding. With a mix of colour and black and white, reportage and relaxed contemporary portraiture as well as group and family photographs; our coverage includes several styles so as to give our customers everything they could hope for. Our approach is simple, get to know our couples really well so that it feels like friends shooting their big day.
How We Work
My team and I arrive onsite 3 hours before the ceremony to do a day recce – establish lighting and locations for groups and bridal portraiture. We start photography two hours prior to the ceremony so as to tell the story from the start of the day during the preps. This is a lovely time to get informal, natural photography and also allows the bridal party and family to get to know us, making it even more informal for the group and family photographs during the day. We work in a relaxed and informal way, building a rapport with guests and family so that we can get our natural wedding photography. We want to cover the whole day and so include 7 hours of photography minimum in all our packages. We cover through to first dance and even later if you want. We want your photography to capture the whole story of the wedding so that when you get your photographs back you can re live the wedding day in all it’s details. For me that means capturing every detail and moment, all of the elements of your day you have spent time planning and creating.
I originally studied fine art at school and developed a passion for photography whilst at art college. I loved the photographic processes of film processing and printing and the immediacy of the medium. After graduating from art college I studied photography HND in digital imaging where I developed a keen interest in the digital aspects of photography and post production.Armed with the technical aspects of photography I chose to further my education and developed my own personal style and interest in fashion and art photography at the renowned photography college in The Fylde Coast. It was here I started my own studio specialising in documentary wedding photography and fashion editorial. The studio grew and after 3 years I decided to re settle back home in North London where I grew up.Now settled with my wife and cat Wimbles in Brixton, I shoot weddings in a style that combines elements of reportage, fashion and relaxed editorial portraiture throughout the UK & Europe.
